Overview

This 5-day safari offers a mix of wildlife, birdwatching, and scenic landscapes, taking you through Kenya’s Great Rift Valley lakes and the world-renowned Maasai Mara Game Reserve. You’ll explore:

Lake Nakuru – Famous for rhinos, flamingos, and diverse birdlife.
Lake Bogoria – Known for its hot springs and large populations of flamingos.
Lake Naivasha – A peaceful freshwater lake offering boat safaris and Crescent Island walking safaris.

Day 01 :

Nairobi – Lake Nakuru National Park

7:00 AM – Pick-up from your Nairobi hotel or airport.
8:00 AM – Drive to Lake Nakuru National Park (approx. 3 hours).
11:00 AM – Arrive at Nakuru, game drive en route to the lodge.
1:00 PM – Check-in and lunch at the lodge.
3:30 PM – Afternoon game drive, spotting rhinos, giraffes, flamingos, and tree-climbing lions.
6:30 PM – Return for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 02 :

Lake Nakuru – Lake Bogoria – Lake Naivasha

6:30 AM – Breakfast and check-out.
7:30 AM – Drive to Lake Bogoria (approx. 2 hours).
9:30 AM – Explore the hot springs and flamingo colonies.
12:30 PM – Lunch at a nearby lodge.
2:00 PM – Depart for Lake Naivasha (approx. 3 hours).
5:00 PM – Arrive in Naivasha, and check in at the lodge.
6:00 PM – Relax by the lake or take an optional sunset boat ride.
7:00 PM – Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 03 :

Lake Naivasha – Maasai Mara

7:00 AM – Breakfast at the lodge.
8:00 AM – Optional boat ride and Crescent Island walking safari.
10:00 AM – Depart for Maasai Mara Game Reserve (approx. 5-6 hours).
1:30 PM – Arrive at Maasai Mara, check in at the lodge/camp, and have lunch.
3:30 PM – Afternoon game drive in search of lions, elephants, cheetahs, and more.
6:30 PM – Return for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 04 :

Full Day in Maasai Mara

6:30 AM – Early morning game drive to catch the sunrise and spot predators in action.
9:00 AM – Return to the lodge for breakfast.
10:30 AM – Full-day game drive with picnic lunch in the Mara plains.
3:00 PM – Visit the Mara River (Great Migration crossing point).
6:30 PM – Return for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 05 :

Maasai Mara – Nairobi

6:30 AM – Optional early morning game drive.
